Preparing the Kool Suit for Use

To prepare the system for use, simply freeze the 1.5 liter plastic ice bottle and place it into the bladder within the backpack. Top off the bladder with water. This water is the cooling solution that gets pumped throughout the garment. If necessary, the bladder can be filled with ice cubes and topped off with water. Secondly, charge the Lithium batteries in the battery charger that comes with the system. Don the backpack and garment and connect the two together using the quick disconnect fittings. Turn the system on with the toggle switch and start cooling down. Having spare frozen ice bottles at the ready will keep you cool all day long.
